Founded in 2020, Itqan Institute is among the first institutes in Yorkshire to offer Ijaaza degrees, the highest certification in Quran memorisation and Tajweed, with authentic chains connected to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
Our Teachers
We specialise in teaching authentic Quranic recitation (Tajweed), and the majority of our instructors hold Ijaaza degrees themselves. Our courses are available for both male and female students.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide exceptional Tajweed education through the expertise of native Arabic teachers. We are dedicated to helping our students master the proper articulation (makharij) and characteristics (sifaat) essential for accurate Quranic recitation.
What We Offer
Enrolling in our Advanced level enables students to obtain either an Ijaaza or Khatm certification. The Ijaaza certifies the full recitation of the Quran by heart with perfect Tajweed, maintaining a direct chain of transmission to the Prophet (pbuh). Khatm, on the other hand, certifies the full recitation of the Quran by looking with perfect Tajweed.
